4(a) Explain five characteristics of nylon which makes it a good choice for making drying lines

(b) State five points to bear in mind when constructing nylon garments.

Candidates could explain the characteristics which make nylon a good choice for making drying lines. Some candidates only explained the uses of nylon and could not differentiate the uses and characteristics of nylon in 4a. In 4b, many candidates did not write the points to bear in mind when constructing nylon garments, they only focused on the points to bear in mind when laying and cutting nylon garments.
