Observation

Candidates were requested to listed out eight disyllabic words with high/high tone and seven
disyllabic words with low/low tone, they were asked to write out the words using phonetic
symbols

The following exemplify the responses that were expected from the candidates. The candidates
performance was above average in this question, though few of them found it difficult to differentiate             sounds from alphabets.
