Observation

Candidates were asked to write the ten compound sentences in (a) and five complex sentences in (b) So   many Candidates attempted this question. Their performance was just a little above average and many of          them were unable to differentiate compound sentences from complex sentences.

            Below are the expected responses from the candidates

•    Ifiẹmwẹ Okunyan ọ re:
• Osasu viẹre sokpan ameve ma ladian.
• Ediọnmwa rhuaro sokpan ọ bẹghe.
• Ukpọn na gbihuẹn sokpan ọ gha gu mwẹ yọ.
• Evbare na i rhiẹnrhiẹn sokpan I gha rri ọre.
• Amẹzẹ i mose sokpan ọ mwẹ uyinmwẹ.
• Egiọni gha yo esuku adeghe ọ miẹ nọ zẹ igho ne enrẹn.
• Iye gha yo eki adeghe ọ gha miẹ emwi dẹ.
• I gha yo ẹki adeghe I  gha miẹ imọto.
• Ebaba gha tota adeghe ọ miẹ aga.
• I gha lele ruẹ adeghe u tie mwẹ.

                        (b)       Ifiẹmwẹ Ofigba ọre:

• Ogbẹide rre, sokpan ọ ma rri evbare vbe ọ ghi tota nẹ.
• Iyayi yo esuku, sokpan ọ ma gbẹn emwi rrọkpa ne a gbẹnne ye ebọdi.
• Erhunmwu gua iyan ye ugbo ẹre, sokpan irẹn ma gha gbẹn ihunmwu yọ vbe ọ ghi zọ nẹ.
• Uhunoma mwẹ igho, sokpan ẹ i rri evbare agbọn ẹ i vbe dẹ ukpọn agbọn ye egbe.
• I te lovbiẹ ne vbe ọ rre, etalọ ẹre ọ ma gu mwẹ miẹ ovbe ya se vbe ọvbokhan ẹnrẹn.
