Observation

The question requires the candidate to write a story ending with the statement: I had never felt so embarrassed in my life. Many candidates wrote stories that were irrelevant. Some of them who wrote relevant stories did not end their stories with the statement contrary to the instruction. Where the candidates wrote relevant stories and ended with the statement, they lacked the expression to effectively convey their ideas. Some of the candidates also copied the comprehension passage verbatim. In addition, some of the candidates that attempted the question ended up using the third person narrative technique instead of the first person narrative technique required by the question.
