The candidates were required to read the passage and summarize some details in a specific number of sentences. Despite the easy-to-understand-summary passage, many candidates were still unable to summarize properly. Some candidates lifted sentences verbatim from the passage. It was also observed that many candidates could not separate main ideas/points from details and illustrations. Some included extraneous materials in their correct responses.
