General Comments

The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were clearly worded and not ambiguous. All the topics in the examination syllabus were covered.

The raw mean score of 32.0 and standard deviation of 14.04 showed that the performance of the candidates was better than WASSCE for School Candidates 2018, with a raw mean score of 28.0 and standard deviation of 13.19. A total of 56,042 candidates sat the paper.
