OBSERVATION

This question was one of the candidates’ weaknesses, though it was highly attempted by majority of them. Candidates were to explain the factors that influence the formation of food habits but many of them could not offer explanations to the points they raised. They listed out correct points such as economy/money, social/peer influence, food taboos/ fallacies and so on but they could not support the points with explanations. This may be because candidates lack in depth knowledge of these factors hence their inability to give satisfactory answers to the question.
