Observation

The question above is on the book Labarun Gargajiya 1 (Oral Prose) and the  candidate is required to give the name of the person who built a house for Lawaya inside the bush in (a) and write the song that is sang before Lawaya would open her door in (b) and give the name of the person who sings the song in (c). The response should be as follows:
           
(a)       Mai mazare Uban Lawaya ne ya gina wa ’yarsa Lawaya gida a dokar daji.

            (b)      Waqar da ake yi:

                                    An lawai-lawai
                                    An ke Lawaya.
                                    Mata da ciki maza da haihuwa, Lawaya.
                                    Idan na mutu, kin lalace , Lawaya.
                                    In na mutu kin velvelce, Lawaya.
                                    ……………………………………………….
                                    ………………………………………………..

            (c)        Mai Mazare, Uban Lawaya ne yake yin waqar.

The performance of candidates in this question was fair. It was also evident that many of them were not familiar with the content of the literature text.
