This question required the candidates to explain how an individual can be helped to become an informed consumer, but most of the candidates wrote on the meaning of consumer education. In question 1b, which was on the importance of consumer education, most of the candidates performed very well but some candidates missed out the information of the various acts and policies of the government. Question 1c was poorly attempted by candidates.
