Observation
Candidates were asked to define voiced and voiceless sounds and give some examples.
They were expected to state that in the production of voiced sounds, the vocal cord vibrates while in the voiceless sounds, it does not vibrate. Examples of voiced sounds include: b, d, ny, r, z, etc while voiceless are: ch, f, kp, f, etc.
The few candidates that attempted this question did not do well.
