Observation

This question is from Mbem na Egwu Igbo.

Candidates were asked to write out three outstanding characteristics of death as seen in the poem, ‘Ọnwu! Ọnwu! Ọnwu!’ in Mbem na Egwu Igbo.
The following were expected:
- Death comes to everybody as and when it wants.
- It fears nobody.
- It comes without notice, etc.

Candidates were requested to write three outstanding characteristics of death in the poem, ‘Uwa Nke a bụ Aja’.

The following points were expected:
- Anybody who dies does not come out again
- Nothing in this world lasts for ever
- This world is not our home, heaven is, nobody can replace a dead person. etc

Candidates were asked to write out four pieces of advice by the poet to the people in the poem, ‘Maka Ime Arusị’ in “Mbem maka Enume”.

The following points were expected:
- Live and let live should be practised by all.
- People should take things easy.
- People should not think evil of others.

Many candidates did not attempt this question.
