Candidates were asked to write two actions the other maidens showcased towards the orphan when she told them that she would join them in the dance competition as seen in the story of “ Ụmụagbọghọ Jere Egwu N’eke Oloma” in (a); write out four kinds of jeweries that were bought by the maidens’ parents and friends in (b); in (c) identify three things given to the orphan by the second spirit on her way; in (d) identify two actions of the old woman (spirit) towards the orphan on her way to the dance; in (e) identify three things depicted by the character of the other girls and in (f) identify two lessons from the story.
The expected answers were:

            (f)        -           Ilelị mmadụ anya adịghị mma.
-           Inwe okwukwe dị mkpa n’ihe ọbụla mmadụ chọrọ ime.

-           Mmadụ ịnagide ọnọdụ ya dị mma.

Most of the candidates that attempted this question did well.
