Many candidates attempted this question. Some of them gave mere narrations of Yaremi’s character and concluded without focusing much on Yaremi’s determination to succeed without remarrying.

The following points should be well developed by the candidates:

i. Yaremi’s identity.
ii. The expectation of the Kufi society.
Yaremi’s determination to remain unmarried.
iii. Yaremi’s efforts to fill her lonely days.
iv. The emptiness and loneliness despite all she does.
v. Her realization that she does not need a man.

Candidates’ performance in this question was fair.
