General Comment
The Chief Examiner reported that the standard of the paper compares favourably with those of the previous years. According to the report, the questions were valid, standard, objective and unambiguous. The language was simple enough for the Candidates’ to understand and a good representative of the various sections of the syllabus. The report further stated that the rubrics were clear and straightforward. The marking schemes were flexible and the allocation of marks were quite adequate according to the weights of the questions.
In conclusion, the Chief Examiner reported that the Candidates’ performance greatly improved when compared to previous years.
