Candidates were expected to study the set-piece and respond according to the questions. However, most of the candidates performed poorly in this question and the most apparent cause of the poor performance was non-availability of the prescribed set-pieces. Candidates’ performance in this question was poor. They could not understand the signs and terms as used in the passage. Candidates were expected to respond to the question in the following manner:
