TThis question was a popular question among the candidates and their performance was good. In part (a) many candidates correctly state functions of the skeletal system although, few candidates wrote answers such as bone helps oxygen to tissues bone give strength, bone guides the body against infection and also helps in transporting food materials. In part (b0 many candidates missed the track by writing various figures such as sever, eight, five, ten, six, eleven as bones make up the thoracic vertebrae.
