TThis question was a popular question among the candidates and their performance was poor.  Candidates could not correct state reasons why the Greek national festivals were established.  they wrote wrong answers such as to promote a source of livelihood for athletes, to promote popularity of athletes, it brings about inter-tribal marriage, it increases the standard of sports, it helps to improve cultural heritage and it improves physical fitness.
The expected answers were as follows:
