TThis question was popular question among  the candidate and their performance was good.   In part (a) candidates correctly list constituents of a balanced diet  although, few candidates went off the track and mentioned foodstuffs such as  yam, beans, bread, rice and vegetables as constituents of balanced diet.  In part (b) many candidates could not  correctly explain flexion and adduction in relation to body movements,  candidates wrote wrong answers such as stretching of the body muscle, lifting  the body parts upward and downwards, putting the legs and arm sideways for  flexion while movement of the arm away from the midline of the body, knocking  the head against opponents and turning the head, neck sideways were answers for  adduction.
                    However, the  expected answers were as follows:
