General Comments
The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and also covered wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible.
The performance of the candidates was poor than the previous year with a candidates’ population of 1,089 which had a raw means score of 19 and standard deviation 16, against a raw mean score of 17 and standard deviation of 07.07 for the November/December 2015, which had a candidates’ population 1,655.
