However, the expected answers are as follows:
Activity 1: Low Service in Badminton Game
Procedure: Candidate is expected to stand in the correct service area of the court and serve into the front half of the side of the opponent’s court, five times are allowed.
Use the scale of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 to rate the candidate’s performance on the grip, stance and execution as the candidate performs the activity.

All performances will be judged according to the following rubrics.
Grip
(i) held at the handle
(ii) firmly held
(iii) hand rest on the butt
(iv) wrist is relaxed
(v) adopt a comfortable type of grip
Stance
(i) assume astride position/slightly striding
(ii) face the direction of play
(iii) both feet in contact with the ground
(iv) stay within the service area
(v) knees slightly bent/flexed
Execution
(i) shuttle is dropped
(ii) extend racket arm backward and downward
(iii) racket arm is swung upward and forward
(iv) eyes focus on the shuttle
(v) rear leg moves forward and follow through
Product Evaluation
The purpose is to measure the ability to make low service accurately into the correct service
court.
Scoring
Each low service attempt is scored 1 point if the shuttle lands within 0.5m of the short service line.
