Skillfully demonstrate body position, hands position, head position, execution and
recovery in the performance of headspring. Three trials are allowed to execute this
activity.

Observation
This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was fair.
However, the expected answers are as follows:
Activity 1: Headspring
1. The activity will be on the basis of Process Evaluation only.
2. Three trials are allowed and the best trial is recorded as score.
3. All performances will be assessed according to the following rubrics.
(i) in a standing erect position
(iii) body face direction of the mat
Hands position
(i) hands are placed on the mat
(ii) legs wide apart
(iii) shoulder width apart
Head position
(i) forehead placed on the floor/mat
(ii) hands form triangular shape
Execution
(i) legs are swung up
(ii) push forcefully with the hands
Recovery
(i) finish in a standing position
(ii) give-in at the knees
(iii) maintain balance
