Observation
This question was attempted by majority of the candidates and their performance was fairly good.
However, the expected answers are as follows:
Activity 1: High Jump
Procedure: Candidates perform three high jump trials, using any styles; demonstrate the required techniques at the approach, take-off, clearance and landing phases.
Use the scale of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 to rate the candidate’s performance.

All performances should be judged according to the following rubrics.
Approach / Run up
(i) start from a comfortable angle / distance
(ii) run straight / curved
(iii) arm swung alternately
(iv) towards the direction of the crossbar
(v) accelerate for the last few strides
Take off
(i) leg closest to bar is driven up first and over the bar / one leg take off
(ii) the other leg follows
(iii) stay tall at the take off / body upright
(iv) leading knee up
(v) swing arm vigorously and lift the body up
(vi) push up from the ground with the power leg
Clearance
(i) body in the air
(ii) body clears the bar
(iii) arms are stretched
(iv) knees are slightly bent / flexed
(v) chest out / tucked in
Landing
(i) head raised
(ii) hip dropped
(iii) legs slightly bent
(iv) lands on the back / leg
(v) hands and shoulder relaxed
