All performances should be judged according to the following rubrics.
Stance
(i) in an astride standing position
(ii) arms are slightly flexed / bent
Approach
(i) make a short run towards the mat / floor
(ii) dive onto the mat
Hand placement
(i) hands / palms are placed flat on the floor / mat
hands / palms are shoulder width apart
fingers pointing forward
Roll over
(i) head tucked in / chin touching the chest / look through in between the legs
(ii) tilt forward / transfer body weight onto the hands
make contact with the floor with the hunch / upper part of the back
Recovery
(i) finish in a standing position
(ii) maintain balance
