General Comments

It was reported that the standard of the paper compares favourably with those of previous years.  All the questions were within the scope of the WASSCE syllabus and within the capability of the candidates.

The marking scheme was adequately prepared to capture the expected responses, adequate alternative solutions were prepared where necessary and marks were fairly and judiciously awarded. 

However, there was a decline in candidates’ performance when compared to that of previous year.
