Observation

Candidates were asked to make a freehand sketch of a centre punch. Most of the candidates that attempted this question performed well but some few ones drew pencil instead of a centre punch.

Candidates were expected to do the following:

Centre Punch

 (i)        sketch the pictorial view;  
(ii)        sketch for  resemblance;
(iii)       sketch to proportion;
(iv)       sketch the dot point;
(v)        sketch face A;
(vi)       sketch face B;
(vii)     sketch the stricking point;
(ix)       sketch neatly;
(x)        show good line quality.
