Using calligraphy, write the following quotation to be hung on the wall at the King’s palace:
To those who trample upon our history,
And cuddle our fortunes.

The question was attempted very well by the candidates. The general performance was fair. They were expected to respond to the question thus:

(i) Proper execution of lettering in the calligraphy.
(ii) Ability to create effective rhythm in the calligraphy.
(iii) Suitable boarder and background in the design.
(iv) Skillful use of materials and instruments.
C. COLOUR
(i) Choice of harmonious and contrasting colours.
(ii) Effective mixture and application of colours in the design.
(iii) Use of colours to specification.
D. SUITABILITY
(i) Ability to produce an effective calligraphic design.
(ii) Should be relevant as a calligraphy.
E. ORIGINALITY
(i) Uniqueness of the calligraphy.
