Candidate's Weakness and Remedies

Candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

• adhere to the instructions;
• express their thoughts correctly;
• write correct spellings for technical words;
• interpret questions correctly;
• write legibly;
• draw properly with border lines, title block to giving information about the design;
• dimension properly.

                       
(b)       SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THESE WEAKNESSES

            The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:

• Candidates should practice more with past question papers;
• subject teacher should spend time to teach candidates good draughtsman ship;
• teachers and school administrators should always utilize the WASSCE Chief Examiners Reports for previous diets of WASSCE exams in the preparation of candidates for external examinations.
