The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. Clarity of the rubrics and flexibility of the marking scheme were maintained. The questions were clearly itemized, unambiguous and easily comprehensible. The performance of the candidates was slightly better than that of the previous year. The candidates population of 1,041,167 had a raw mean score of29 and a standard deviation of 15.03 as against a raw mean score of28 and a standard deviation of 13.48 recorded in the May/June 2010 W ASSCE with candidature of 1,059,609.
