(a)            Candidates' Weaknesses
The major weakness was identified as lack of exposure and good grasp of
the content of the subject. Some of the candidates did not read the
questions carefully. Key words were often missed, with candidates
seemingly answering the question they would like to answer rather than
the actual question on the examination paper

                    (b)             Suggested Remedies
It was suggested that, to correct these weaknesses:
                      (i) efforts should be-made to ensure that qualified teachers teach and
practice the subject with the candidates.
(ii) the subject is adequately funded so that the practical application and
implication of the subject are made known to the candidates.
