The candidates’ general performance reflected the following weaknesses:

-           Poor presentation and organization of thoughts;
-           Shallow knowledge of the business aspect of the subject;
-           Sketching.

SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESES

• Schools offering the subject should employ two teachers with Automobile/ Auto mechanic and Marketing backgrounds to handle the subject
• School administrators should make the subject compulsory for those offering Auto Mechanics
• School administrators should encourage teachers to write textbooks on the commercial aspect of the subject
