Draw to a scale of 1:20, the detailed section Y-Y of the reinforced concrete stair from ground level to the first floor slab and label the following parts:
- lower flight;
- upper flight;
- landing slab.
- main reinforcement bar.
Observation
Majority of them did well by:
- showing the various elements of concrete stair ( lower flight, upper flight, landing slab);
- identifying types of steel reinforcement.
However, some of the candidates that attempted this questions failed to:
- dimension the sectional drawing;
- show the wall in section;
- show the floor slabs;
- draw the upper fight.
