(a) Relate the account of the call of the fisherman and tax collector to discipleship.

(b) State four demands of discipleship.

Observation

Only few candidates answered this question and it was not well answered. They had insufficient points and gave scanty answers which resulted in poor marks. They ought to mention points such as:
(i) Jesus entered into one or the boats owned by Peter
(ii) Jesus told him to put down into the deep for a catch
(iii) Jesus saw Matthew, a tax Collector and asked him to follow him
(iv) He left everything and followed him. The'b part of the question was also an uphill task as they could not mention points as total commitment, promptness, suffering, sacrifice and renunciation as some demands of discipleship.
