(c)   State the advantages of using the device illustrated in the diagrams above

(d)  Mention ways of maintaining the device illustrated in the diagrams above after use.

(e)   List the tools used in the services illustrated in the diagrams above.
(f)  State use each of the tools mentioned in (2)(e).   

 

 

OBSERVATION

This question was very popular among the candidates and is one of their strength. Majority of the candidates’ performed excellently and were able to give the general name of the services being carried out in the diagrams above, identify each of the illustrated in the diagrams labeled Fig I, II, III, IV, V and VI, state the advantages of using the device illustrated in the diagrams above, mention ways of maintaining the device illustrated in the diagrams above after use,  list the tools used in the services illustrated in the diagrams above.
Therefore the candidates’ performance was excellent.

    • The use of emery wheel to file nails;
    •  Showing the proper way of holding cuticle with pusher;
    • Working back and loosen cuticle brush;
    • Removing excess cuticle with cuticle brush;
    • Using buffer over dry polish to polish the nail;
    • Using buffer to massage the fingers and stimulating the blood circulation to the nail.
