OBSERVATION

This question was one of the candidates’ strength and it was generally well responded to. In 6 (a), candidates were able to correctly outline the qualities of a guest as being prompt, polite, express gratitude and exhibit table manners. Also in 6 (b), they mentioned the functions of a waiter/waitress as seeing to the prompt, orderly and delightful service of foods and taking orders from guests/customers in polite manners. Candidates provided more points than what was requested for in 6 (c) where the candidates wrote the information that mist be on a formal invitation card. The correct answers provided by candidates include name of the hostess/host, name of the guest, the occasion/ceremony, venue, date, time, RSVP, address/contact, dress code etc.
