A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ STRENGTHS

The most outstanding strength displayed by candidates were in questions 2, 5 (b) and 6. In question 2, candidates were able to correctly list the food sources, state the effects of calcium in the body and the points to be considered when planning meals for invalids. Also, candidates responded positively to question 5 (b) which requested for factors to be considered when selecting kitchen tools and equipment. Furthermore, question 6 was popular among candidates. They were able to outline the qualities of a guest, state the functions of a waiter/waitress and the information that must be on a formal invitation card.
