_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Observation

The question was popular as it was attempted by majority of the candidates.
The good candidates were able to identify the ways in which the rights of citizens can be protected and they explained them.These candidates scored high marks.
Some candidates listed the Fundamental Human Rights of citizens only instead of stating the ways by which the rights can be protected. This resulted to heavy loss of marks, reducing the overall performance in the question to average. Some of the points expected from the candidates included:

-reduction in poverty level in the society;
establishments of public complaints commission;

-entrenchment of Rights in the Constitution;

 -freedom of press is essential, etc.
