A great number of candidates exhibited some of the following strengths in their responses to the questions:
(1) ability to answer questions they know best first;
(2) ability to first mark out salient points in every question answered;  

(3) evenly apportioning of time to each question;
(4) ability to understand the demands of some of the questions.
