How health workers can suffice a nation.
This is an expository essay and the candidates were expected to write on the possible ways to be explored by a country to provide enough health worker. In attempting the question, candidates are required to mention points among others as:
  provision of health institutions all over the country,
  giving scholarship to students on that course,
  payment of attractive remuneration to the health workers,
  provision of latest and enough equipments to health centres, etc.
Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was encouraging.
(c) A ra 'ayinka, shigar mata gadan-gadan cikin sha 'anin mulki ya dace?
In your own opinion, is it appropriate for women to participate fully in politics?
The question is an argumentative essay, it sought the opinion of the candidates on the
appropriateness of women fully participating in politics. Many candidates attempted the
question and their performance was encouraging.
(d) Rubuta wasika zuwa ga editan jaridar 'Aminiya ', ka bayyana tabarbarewar ilimi a kasar nan.
Write a letter to the Editor of the newspaper 'Aminiya' explaining the reason for the deterioration of education in this country.
  The candidates were expected to write a formal letter using the following format:
  Address of the writer
  Editor's address
  Salutation
  Topic sentence
  Content
  Conclusion

The content of the letter which may include the following points:
  lack of enough and qualified teachers;
  inadequate classes and furniture;
  inadequate instructional materials;
  lukewarm attitude of some teachers and parents towards education; etc.
Many candidates attempted the question and their performance was encouraging.
(e) Da-na-seni keya ce
Had 1 known is a hindsight
The statement above is a proverb. It required the candidates to give its meaning, narrate a story that will end with that proverb and further mention other proverbs of its equivalent, e.g.
