WEAKNESS/REMEDIES

                    The  candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to

  •  attempt question that deals with diagram and function of the labelled parts
  • express themselves adequately in English Language
  • understand the questions asked
  • make drawing of a typical thoracic vertebra and label fully.
  • state differences between a typical cervical vertebra and a thoracic vertebra.
  • classify the following bones as axial or appendicular skeleton: scapula, ribs clavicle and femur
  • explain the following functions of the liver (i)   deamination (ii)detoxification

(iii) heat production

  •   state causes of fire outbreak in industries
  • list first aid items required for snake bite
  • define school health programme
  • state components of the school  health programme
  • outline ways by which school accident could be minimized.

               
                    The following remedies were suggested to overcome the weaknesses:

                    Candidates should

  •  cover examination syllabus before the commencement of the examination
  • candidates should be taught by qualified teacher in the subject area
  • candidates should make drawing and labeling of diagrams as habit in learning.
