Candidates showed improvement in their ability to:

  •  write relevant points and straight forward answers to questions
  • answer questions that demand tabulation during the examination
  • adhere to the rubrics by answering the required number of questions
  • list food best preserved by  salting, pasteurization, vacuum drying and air  drying
  • list ways by which food could be kept at home under hygienic conditions
  • name pests that could contaminate human food
  • mention injuries that could occur at the forelimb
  • name structures of the male reproductive system
  • highlight guidelines for the purchase of consumer health products
  • state the duties of the mother in a family setting
  • mention causes of single parenthood
  • state reasons for drug addiction
  • highlight preventive measures for drug addition
  • state functions and structures of the respiratory organs such as trachea, lungs nose and  the ribs
  • mention substances involved in the exchange of gases during breathing
  • state characteristics of a  complicated fracture.
