• This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was fair.  In part (a) (i) few candidates correctly mentioned sources of natural water and in (a)(ii) candidates correctly mentioned methods of purifying water in the home.

  -           Lagoon
    (ii)    METHODS OF PURIFYING WATER IN HOME
  -    by adding alum/named correct chemicals
  -    by sedimentation
  -     by adding chlorine tablet/chlorination
  -     by boiling
  -     by filtration.
