Weakness and Remedies

 

Candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

  • express themselves in simple English Language
  • write correct spellings
  • write legibly
  • state deficiencies of vitamin B in humans
  • state functions of calcium in humans
  • explain caloric value of food
  • state functions of testis, epididymis and seminal  
  • complete table of digestive secretions
  • state functions of the liver
  • define muscles
  • state locations of involuntary muscles
  • mention food items that can be preserved by prickling method
  • explain narcotics
  • explain hallucinogens

The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:

  • recommended textbooks should be used by candidates
  • candidates should improve their handwriting
  • candidates should endeavour to cover the syllabus before the commencement of the examination
  • students should cultivate habit of reading
