Observation

 

Many candidates attempted this question and their performance was poor. In part (a) majority of the students were unable to mention the three degrees of burns. In part (a) (ii) they did poorly in it. In part (b) candidates were not familiar with the pioneers in mental health from West Africa.

-    damage extends to the upper dermis

• destruction of nerves/pain receptors/extend to deeper tissues
•  shock

 

(b)    ONE PIONEER OF MENTAL HEALTH
