Weakness & Remedies

Candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

• spell correctly
• write in simple English Language
• correctly name the parts  labelled in illustrated diagrams
• mention substances that are transported from the blood of the mother to the embryo
• list venereal diseases that could affect the embryo before birth
• mention sources of industrial pollution
• describe the first aid treatment given to a victim of electric shock
• mention notable features of food fermentation
• explain sedentary lifestyle.

The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:-

• candidates should show more commitment their studies
•  candidates should use recommends textbooks that cover wide range of the syllabus
• candidates should improve on spellings
• candidates should improve their handwritings
• candidates should familiarize themselves with terms use in health education.
