   QUESTION 3

“amanar Rasul bima ‘ unzila ilayhi minr- Rabbihi wal Mu’minûn… .” (Q2:285-286)

  1. Complete the verses.
  2. Enumerate the lessons contained in the verses.

OBSERVATION

The brilliant performance of candidates who answered this question showed that they were familiar with these verses of the Qur’an. The verses were correctly completed in Arabic and transliteration and the lessons appropriately applied. They pointed out lessons such as the need to believe in all the prophets of Allah without discrimination, disbelief in any of the prophets means disbelief in all, the imperative of seeking the forgiveness of Allah and the fact that we shall all return to Allah one day to give the account of our stewardship on the earth surface among others. However, the fact that Allah does not place on one, a burden beyond what one can carry and that one should strive to achieve one’s noble goal in life were missed out by candidates.
