Toje is a successful business man, he is dubious, jealous, coveteous, devious, spiteful and vengeful in his relationship with Oshevire, Aku and Odibo.  He is arrogant and conceited.  He sets the conflict in motion.  His pride is shattered when he finds out about Odibo and Aku’s affair.  Toje can be rated as a despicable character who considers every person as a threat.
