Many candidates attempted this question although a lot of them were unable to point out what they learnt about the culture of Mando land. Rather, they wrote scanty narration of events in the book.

The required answers should include:

• Belief in ancestral wisdom
• Hard work and moral decency of the people.
• Sanctity of human life/severe punishment for bloodshed in the land.
• Male domination in the society.

Candidates' performance was poor.
