This was a popular question but majority of the candidates gave a character sketch of Chief Haladu Ade-Amaka and were able to point out how he manipulated justice to his advantage.

Candidates were expected to discuss the following points:

* The theme of bribery and corruption as tools of the manipulation.

* Chief Haladu Ade-Amaka as the kingpin of corruption.

* Other corrupt individual/corrupt officers of the law and their influence.

* Failure of the vigilance of corruption.

* Eventual triumph of justice.

Candidates’ performance in this question was fair.
