    (i) Intensive distribution;

    (ii) Selective distribution;

    (iii) Exclusive distribution;

     

    (c) State six causes of customer dissatisfaction in a product

Observation

Majority of the candidates gave the dictionary meaning of quality for question 4a. While the expected response is that quality in marketing refers to the features associated to a product that meets the needs,standard and expectations of the customer.

 

For question 4b, most candidates did not attempt it, some candidates were relating these types of distribution to the number of consumers of a product instead of the number of channel member involved in the product distribution process.
