(d) What is the relationship between the two keys stated in 2(c) (i) and (ii) above?
(e) Mention any two compositional devices used each in the

With reference to Saasa 'Kroma(Ghanaian folksong) arranged James A. Yankey,
(a)         In what year was the music arranged by James A. Yankey?
(b)        Quote the first four bars of the melody with the test.
(c)         State any three compositional devices used by the arranger to highlight the title of the piece.
(d)        State one similarity and one difference between the vocal score and the accompaniment.

Observation

All candidates who studied either of the set pieces supplied the expected answers and did very well by scoring high marks while those didn't study the set-pieces failed to answer the question(s) correctly and scored lower marks or outright zero.
